      Starting pay: $25 per hour

      Schedule/Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

      What is the job?

      Our Equipment Operators move material throughout the facility for treatment and disposal by operating heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators and roll-off trucks for select customers across the world.

      Day in the Life

      While no two days are exactly the same, as an Equipment Operator, you can expect to:

      • Attend the morning Health & Safety meeting.

      • Begin your day by receiving the day's duties from your Supervisor.

      • Prepare your work center for the day's treatment processes.

      • Maintain storage inventory throughout the site.

      • Report, troubleshoot and maintain site equipment.

      • Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times.

      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      What you need to apply

      • Valid driver's license

      • Comfort wearing a respirator as needed.

      • Ability to work a flexible work schedule (including overtime and evenings)

      • Ability to come onsite in the event of an emergency or be on call as needed (after working hours)

      Transportation

      US Ecology provides shuttle transport from Nampa and Mountain Home to the Grand View location and back daily. We are willing to provide similar services in Boise and the surrounding areas as needed.

As a result, RCRA hazardous waste liabilities are eliminated, and other long-term risks associated with disposal are minimized.
